The Strategic Framework for Women’s Enterprise adopted in UK intends to construct a friendly and encouraging environment for women who desire to start and grow their own business, and simultaneously ensure women entrepreneurs’ access to the needed resources for their business. This framework indicates the barriers which women entrepreneurs may confront with, and suggests several actions to solve these problems. The barriers could be lack of proper business support, access to finance, assistance of caring and domestic responsibilities, difficulties in the transition from benefits t self-employment or business ownership, appropriate role models, confidence and self-esteem. The actions could be the development of business support, access to networking opportunities, more accessible business finance, better liaison with fund providers, affordable childcare facilities, the establishment of best practices for women entrepreneurs, and so on.
